Religious Jewish people in Stamford Hill and many in Golders Green do not integrate.
I lived in Stamford Hill and became friends with 3 when growing up, but they couldn’t be seen talking to me and anyone else who wasn’t Jewish as I was seen as a gentile. Unless it’s business and even then they are very short with you/ often ill mannered, they do not integrate.
Some are trying to integrate a little, like my boy @SZ_Royde but it’s rare and frowned upon by the community.

I grew up near Stamford Hill so I knew this from an early age. Never really questioned it and no one else around me did. I've never seen mainstream media address the fact that some Jewish communities don't integrate and no one has ever expected them to.

Jews have their own neighbourhoods. We have ‘Jewish areas’ in the UK and no-one seems to bat an eye: Gated areas, private hospitals, private schools. If they were truly integrated, why do they live apart? We criticise the Muslim community for doing this, why not Jews too?

Just this one subsidy to a foreign company to kill wind projects purely out of spite by Trump costs TWICE as much as the loan guarantees to the dreaded Solyndra.
Solyndra was a rightwing talking point about waste for YEARS. And that loan program - which always assumed that some projects would fail - not only made up for those losses, but ended up being profitable for taxpayers.
But doubt we hear a word about this latest boondoggle from the same people who were horrified by the supposed waste and told us government shouldn't choose winners and losers.
