The Education Tax Credit (ETC) sunset repeal provision (found in Rep. Ruffridge’s HB144) has been placed in SB140. That language repeals the sunset date for the credits.

We’re grateful for the budget passed from the Senate floor yesterday. Many UA needs were addressed, after good consideration. Support from the House and the Governor would be appreciated.

HB148 modifies and improves the Alaska Performance Scholarship. The bill will be up in the House Finance Committee on May 11 at 10AM. Passage of the bill would help boost student enrollment for the UA system.
