Why it matters beyond the lab:
· Robotics – A unified space‑time controller could give humanoid robots flexible balance strategy similar to the one our brains use.
· Clinical outlook – Wearable devices that add the physics of standing might offset age‑ or pathology-related neural delays, reducing falls in at‑risk populations
