Worked from home for several decades a d below is a good bit of advice. Ill add two things
1) you have a laptop, trying working other places j. Your home. It changes things up and feels much more like going to meetings than merely logging into them

@ValsyWeis I mean. There's always MyTaxi (freenow) which addresses the convenience concerns as a black cab comes straight to your door. Moreover they can use bus lanes which radically changes transit times. Cost? Yeah that it doesnt fix sadly though

All the people saying black cabs are safer than Ubers are missing the point: most people getting Ubers can’t afford black cabs and wouldn’t be able to get one to collect them from directly outside home or work. Ubers are safer than walking home alone at night. That’s the reality.
