UCMB AHA 2026- Exec. Sec. @sam_orach presented the Networks 2025 Annual performance report. He thanked MoH for its overall leadership & recognizing the important role the PNFPs play not only in clinical services, but also policy level &strengthening Health System in the country.

He encouraged the Facility managers present whose Laboratories have not been accredited by @UGANAS_25 to do so - to improve on their diagnostics services

Today, @UEC_UCMB Annual Health Assembly (AHA) 2026 commenced with Holy Mass at Nsambya Sharing Hall under the theme INTEGRATED HEALTH SYSTEMS TOWARDS ACHIEVING UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE BY 2030: A CASE FOR STRATEGIC AND SUSTAINABLE HEALTH FINANCING.

He thanked GoU for the support to Facilities. He noted significant progress on GoU’s roadmap towards UHC— but identified systemic challenges in health financing, HR, infrastructure & service capacity which continue to hinder equitable & quality service delivery.

The meeting discussed the role of the faith-based actors, especially the IBC, in the implementation of the UG-USG Compact (MOU).
