We also celebrated the accreditation of Lubaga hospital by the Council for Health Services Accreditation of South Africa (COHSASA). Lubaga hospital becomes the second hospital in Uganda and the fifth in East Africa to get the COHSASA Accreditation. Congratulations!

Today I had the pleasant opportunity to be with the Hon. Minister of State for Health (General Duties), the Archbishop of Kampala, His Grace Paul Ssemogerere and other invited guests to celebrate 125 years of Uganda Martyrs Hospital Lubaga since its founding on October 18th 1899.

Handing over to Dr Odong Eminton of Lacor hospital the award given by Ministry of Health on October 26th 2023 during the Joint Review Mission. Lacor hospital got the award as one of the top 3 best performance among the Regional Referral and large PNFP hospitals in 2022/2023.
