Ethereum on Tour’s Beijing Debut: Three Days, Six Universities, from DApps and Digital Assets to Stablecoins | A Full Recap Over the past week, Ethereum on Tour made its first stop in Beijing. Led by @ShyamSridhar7, a core member of the @ethereumfndn Academic Secretariat, and organized jointly by @LXDAO_Official and @ETHPanda_Org, the tour held intensive sessions across three days, visiting Peking University (@PKUBlockchain) and Tsinghua University (@THUBA_DAO), and collaborating with University of International Business and Economics (@UIBEFTA), Central University of Finance and Economics (@cufeba888), Renmin University of China (@OfficialRUChain), and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (@BUPT3DAO). Nearly 500 students, faculty, developers, and researchers participated, engaging in high-level dialogues around three core topics: the future of DApps, the foundational protocols of digital assets, and the risks and regulation of stablecoins. Discussions spanned from macro insights to micro-architecture, and from academic theory to industry practice. 🔍 Highlights at a Glance: ➜ Peking University: Professor Xiao Zhen (@ZhenXiaoCornell) analyzed the global landscape of stablecoins, Instructor Sun Huiping deconstructed the engineering challenges of DApps, and Rachel, a core contributor at @Scroll_ZKP, revealed the paradox of user experience. ➜ Tsinghua University: Associate Professor Liu Zhuotao reviewed a decade of protocol evolution, while Researcher Duan Sisi uncovered novel security vulnerabilities in PoS consensus mechanisms. ➜ Four-University Joint Session: Scholars from four leading universities deconstructed stablecoins from multidisciplinary perspectives including regulatory technology, financial engineering, and the nature of money. This Ethereum campus tour was not only a profound academic exchange but also a practice-driven initiative jointly led by LXDAO and ETHPanda.
