I disagree!! Firstly, we stand with none of the belligerents. The war is the single largest threat to global economy which includes India and we are not alone in this. The short term impact would have issues but the longer term we would do much better with larger opportunities. As far as the Supreme Leader is concerned, one can make the argument about the early or late condolences but overall it doesn't make a larger impact on policy and ground realities of relations with Iran. The civilisational question is fine with Iran but does the civilisation exist with the current regime? Lets be realistic. Are we to look away from all the terrorism Iran has sponsored? If we want the world to recognise terrorism towards us we need to acknowledge terrorism on them as well. Just BTW today Indian Intelligence has flagged Basij doing influence and recruitment ops inside India... The sailors and IRIS Dena incident is unique which can be answered with a question. Would we want our Navy to do the same to a Pakistani ship in times of battle? There are clear reports of India telling the ships not to leave.. Guests is emotions not reality. I am all for strategic autonomy but the comparison of attacks on US bases and the gulf region with out relations with Israel and US is shallow as we are not allies.. At no point of time I promote relations with US as I have analysed many times it is not a partner to anyone and especially India can't trust them. My criticism of the sanction policy and previous to that the regime change efforts in India now and previously is well documented in my shows and on this app as well. How is India falling in line with the US when we have shown defiance on Russian oil ad weapons as well as our policy on Pakistan.. Catching CIA agents and exposing them in India and now in Bangladesh? I don't get the India with US narrative when anyone who has seen what has happened between both the countries in the past year.. Why don't we see it as Israel standing with India rather than the other side.. Are we so pessimistic?
