@UKRetroTaxCon @Audioaero1 @emily4MK @HMRCVictim I caved in& settled.Still have years of TTP ahead! HMRC added promoters fees to loan. But it was interest &penalties which have crippled me. But agree-if HMRC had just accepted to tax people on money received in the year they received it,this would have been resolved years ago

@emily4MK @HMRCVictim Emily appreciate your involvement but as another has said why are Promoter fees being suddenly added to an individuals bill when NO ONE ever saw that money except the Promoter?? If HMRC want that money the CHASE THE PROMOTER for it.. its not difficult ..

I’m grateful for the decision made at the budget to write off £5,000 of the liabilities of those affected by the loan charge scandal – but there is more to be done.

No one will settle if you have to pay up for your pre-2010 years, on the original terms i.e interest, penalties and IHT, to get the new #LoanCharge years settlement terms for years 2010-2019. It still makes the overall settlement unaffordable. #LoanChargeScandal. Is this what the @UKLabour, @Keir_Starmer, @RachelReevesMP, @Dan4Barnet, @Ray_McCann55 want? If not do something about it before more lives are lost.

@ContractorNews_ 11 suicides now from the #LoanChargeScandal and review still leaves the victims doing all the heavy lifting. HMRC agree to waive their extortionate interest but take no other hit for decades of inaction and incompetence. Promoters walk away untouched.
The review failed everyone.
