Even if that's not the case, Sendek is turned toward the sideline official to ask for the timeout. That ref is at least 20 feet away, turned away from Sendek & running away from him. Unreasonable to expect that ref to see him. Sendek should've asked the baseline ref, instead. 2/2

1. A coach can only ask for timeout if the other team isn't in bounding the ball. UK was in-bounding the ball. The ref would've been wrong to grant the time out request. 1/2
