Statewide, we're almost at 60% of all ballots returned overall + hit 1.9M requests. 4 more weekdays left to request a ballot, so the 1.95M mark looks likely. Maybe 1.8-2M if there's a surge at the end. I'd expect things to start slowing down once we hit the inflection point.

A lot of people’s sense of veepstakes odds has to do with candidates’ odds of changing the equation in their home (swing) state. Maybe it’s what Harris decides on, but… that’s rare! There just haven’t been picks meant to specifically help in their home state since… the 1960s?
