Côte d’Ivoire's investments in infrastructure, education, gender equality, & social protection have built a solid foundation for public health. Including HIV services in Universal Health Coverage is critical in ensuring that all PLHIV and at risk of infection have access to services and that the #HIVresponse is financially sustainable. 🇨🇮 is on the right path to #endAIDS as a public health threat - an example to the region & all of Africa! 🌍

#Santé | 10ᵉ session du CNLS : Tiémoko Meyliet Koné réitère l'engagement du gouvernement à éradiquer le Sida à l'horizon 2030 Abidjan, le 19 juillet 2025 - La 10ᵉ session du Conseil national de lutte contre le sida (CNLS) s'est tenue le jeudi 17 juillet 2025, en présence de Tiémoko Meyliet Koné, Vice-président de la République. Il a salué les résultats obtenus et a réitéré l'engagement du gouvernement à éradiquer le Sida à l'horizon 2030. Le Vice-président a par ailleurs appelé à un renforcement de la synergie entre les acteurs nationaux et internationaux afin de faire de cet objectif une réalité. I congratulated Prime Minister Beugré Mambé for his personal leadership in the 🇨🇮 HIV response and for the country's resolute response to the current funding crisis: commitment to increase domestic funding of HIV & public health. And the First Lady has been instrumental in her role as champion for ending mother to child transmission and ending AIDS in children. #endAIDS
