Today marks 6 months since Afghan women staff were barred from UN premises. They continue serving the Afghan people, despite these unprecedented constraints. But the longer this goes on, the greater the risk to life-saving services. Assistance must be delivered by women, to women. In Afghanistan, financial inclusion is empowering women to revive local economies amid crisis. With @EUinAfghanistan, @UNDPaf has supported 32,400 women with access to finance, and provided microloans to 4,300 women-led businesses. Investing in women is investing in resilience.
