🇿🇦 Huge win for Reproductive Health Month! 🇿🇦 Cabinet has approved the Sexual & Reproductive Justice (SRJ) Strategy for South Africa. A massive step toward bodily autonomy for women, youth, and marginalized groups. Congrats to @The_DSD and the Govt! 👏✨

Last week in JHB, our Assistant Representative @uThulaniMbatha joined @IpasOrg & @DWYPD_ZA to tackle child marriage, teen pregnancy, and school dropout. By addressing root causes like gender inequality, we’re ensuring no girl has to choose between her health and her education. 🇿🇦

This past Wednesday, the National Coordination Forum (NCF) convened to set the strategic engine for South Africa’s development in motion. 🇿🇦🏛️In a high-level partnership between the Government of SA and UNFPA, we endorsed a 5-year Action Plan and the 2026-2030 CPD.

It’s time to modernize the conversation on pregnancy prevention. 🛑 During the Focus Group Discussions in the Western Cape, a powerful theme emerged: Dual Responsibility. Learners argued that the burden of prevention shouldn't fall solely on girls.
