It breaks my heart to see BC’s season end that way.

It’s crazy watching every other program in this league have its day in the sun (besides UVM, which isn’t aware it has a program) while we toil in obscurity. I mean, our level of irrelevance over the last ten years would be hard to achieve if we tried. Law of averages and all.

If you told me before the season we were going to beat the 1st, 6th, 13th, 14th, 19th (x2), and 20th (x2) ranked teams, with all except one coming on the road, I would have asked where we were building the Mike Souza statue. Instead, we're somehow 33rd in NPI.

Macklin Celebrini has 60 points in 39 NHL games and would still be young enough to qualify for the World Juniors. That almost breaks my brain.

Sam Bennett somehow got named to Canada's 4 Nations roster, won the Conn Smythe, then didn't make the Olympic team.

What a weekend. I don't remember the last time the program had this sort of momentum. Four straight wins, all on the road, three of them against ranked teams. Next Sunday undefeated Dartmouth comes to the Whit. Should be a good one.

I'm trying not to get ahead of myself, but if this trend continues of not giving up goals, we will be very hard to beat. I don't think I'd sleep much tonight if I were a Maine fan. The lights were clearly too bright.
