For those attending next weeks 68th #IAEA General Conference, please join us join us for a side event on 18 September from 16:30 to 17:30, discussing the synergies between #Euratom and #UNSCEAR to improve knowledge of the levels and effects of ionizing radiation.

On 25 June OECD/NEA and UNSCEAR secretariat signed an MoU for collaboration, sharing information and analysis on radiation science and research. This is a significant achievement and a very important step forward in strengthening the collaboration between our two organizations.

At the IRPA16 congress in Orlando (7-12 July), UNSCEAR presented its comprehensive evaluations, future programme of work and strategy for data collection on medical, occupational and public exposures.

Last month, senior officials from UNSCEAR and ICRP met to sign an agreement that strengthens our collaboration moving forward. As we look to update our General Recommendations, this agreement will have a positive impact on the System of RP! ow.ly/USs250SgVQh

Over 180 experts of the Committee and observers are convening in Vienna for the 71st Session

In a weeks’ time UNSCEAR will meet for its 71st session to review progress on scientific evaluations and its future programme of work. Over 190 participants are expected to attend. You can follow developments on unscear.org
