@WittyCrypt0 in afg, my unit deployed as artillery, so we were in the middle of nowhere on tiny FOBs. we’d maybe get some small arms or a random RPG or mortar. in iraq, we ran convoys. routinely encountered IEDs/EFPs, ambushes, higher amount of RPGs and rockets/mortars. a lot more KIAs.
