~two years ago my 8yo son decided he wanted to follow in my USA Today Bestselling Author wife's footsteps and 'make his own book'
we told him if he actually wrote one, we would publish it for him (well, he had to go through all the steps) and basically give it the same treatment we give her books, and ofc he keeps anything he makes
he came up with the idea of doing a graphic novel based on a boy who finds a Magic 8 ball, and The Curse of the Magic 8 Ball was born
while he was writing his book each night we met an amazing illustrator from South Africa on Farcaster and commissioned her to do all the artwork
finally, as of this morning, my son's first book, The Curse of the Magic 8 Ball: Danny X Adventure 1, is available on Amazon Kindle Unlimited
if we are mutuals, you have a young kid who would like a fun graphic novel made by an 8yo, or you just have it in your heart to show some support to a (now) 10yo boy who put some real effort into making something really cool, it would mean the world to me (more importantly, him), if you could grab a copy, the link which I'll put in the comments below this
