Heartbreaking💔 | The ZRP has confirmed the arrest of Obert Namurokosi (45) in connection with two murder cases that occurred on 3 May 2026 in Victory Park, Kadoma. Reports indicate that the suspect had a domestic dispute with his wife, Cynthia Namurokosi (45), who then sought refuge at their daughter, Takudzwa Namurokosi’s (23), home on 2 May 2026. On the following day, the suspect allegedly went to the house armed with a kitchen knife and attacked both victims. He is reported to have stabbed his daughter, who was nine months pregnant, several times before attacking his wife, stabbing her in the neck. Both victims died from their injuries. Takudzwa Namurokosi leaves behind her husband and two young children. Police have condemned the incident and continue to urge the public to say no to domestic violence and murder. @PoliceZimbabwe

A woman was reportedly attacked after she showed support for Budiriro North MP, Susan Matsunga (also known as Machuma Machuma), who recently received a car and US$50,000 from Wicknell Chivhayo. The incident is said to be linked to tensions and strong reactions on social media about the gift in Mufakose. Reports say the woman was attacked by someone who disagreed with her views. She suffered serious injuries and lost a lot of blood. Her condition became critical, and without quick medical help, she could have died. After the attack, the attacker’s friends and family stepped in. When they saw how serious her injuries were, he helped take her to the hospital, where she received urgent treatment. Doctors said she survived because she got help in time. The case is now in court, and both people appeared before a magistrate. Authorities are still investigating what happened.
