Union Pacific's Big Boy #UP4014 and Lincoln #UP1616 locomotives will make 2 public stops in Greeley, CO this July as part of a limited 2025 schedule. Although this year's steam schedule is limited, the Big Boy will return to the rails in a big way in 2026. up.com/aboutup/commun…

🎃Since 1862, Union Pacific has delivered Halloween essentials. While none of them travel behind the Big Boy, it is rather fitting for #spookyseason. Our yellow locomotives haul more than 30,000 carloads of sugar, corn syrup, peanuts and chocolate.

Union Pacific's Big Boy No. 4014 recently had the privilege of carrying an American flag in honor of former railroad engineer Fred Campbell, as a tribute to a service member during one leg of its journey. The flag was then presented to Fred's family in Wilson, Kansas.
