We've partnered with them through our Chesed Department and have trained 50 volunteers to help carry out wishes. David Collins, our Chief Programmes Officer, is addressing volunteers and thanking them for their commitment. Want to help? Email wishambulance@theus.org.uk

Tonight we're helping make wishes come true! We're listening to the inspirational Kees Veldboer, Director and Founder of the Ambulance Wish Foundation, which helps terminally ill people fulfil their final wish.

Dropped a few bags of clothes into the #USChesed project today. This aims to provide dignified support for asylum seekers, families supported by Jewish charities & clients of local food banks, homeless & domestic abuse shelters. The project supports people of all faiths and none.

We have just secured a deal with a local supermarket who are giving us their surplus food. Food will go to our Asylum Seeker Drop-in Centres and cooking groups. We are in need of a fridge to store our food in - if you have/ or know of someone who wants to donate one, let us know!

The moment Derek & Eirwen were re united this morning at the Ty Pentwyn Nursing Home by @UnitedSynagogue volunteers for @AmbulanceWishUK who drove 180 miles to make the 5 min journey happen. The biggest privilege to be able to share this most intimate moment. #thankyou 💕
