Reasons haven't changed daily at all. But there are a multitude of reasons. Last year's bombing raid on three Iranian nuclear installations was a success, a total success. I can assure you how military observers around the world would have viewed "Operation Midnight Hammer" as an extremely impressive military operation. It was the exact opposite of "Operation Gothic Serpent" (better known as 'Black Hawk Down' during the battle of Mogadishu when 18 Americans were killed). Or "Operation Allies Refuge" when 13 Americans were killed during the withdrawal from Afghanistan). And by the way...I'm not making any judgement of the two presidents in office during these two military operations...Bush Snr & Joe Biden. Just like I don't give President Trump all the credit for Operation Midnight Hammer. These things are far too complex & involve many people of a far higher skill set than any one Commander-in-Chief could ever possibly hope to have. For example: Operation Midnight Hammer involved 150 aircraft & over 300 highly trained pilots who rarely fly below Mach 0.8, and often between Mach 2 and Mach 3.2. It only takes a small handful of the tiniest of errors or miscalculations at those velocities for the walls of Jericho to come tumbling down on the whole intricately planned operation & the potential loss of many lives. So yes, Operation Midnight Hammer was about as successful as a military operation can be. I'm talking about the actual military exercise & the performance of the highly skilled men & women who carried out such a precise & dedicated operation. Whereas I have a feeling you're talking about the political ramifications & the short, mid, & long term consequences of the actions carried out on June 21st & 22nd 2025.

No, nothing Trump has done is 'against his values' or against what MAGA Republicanism stands for. Trump sanctioned the bombing raids on Iranian nuclear facilities. And yes, there were some people who were saying what you're saying here, that Trump said he was fiercely opposed to getting involved in any new wars or conflicts around the world. Yes, he did say this & yes it is a core principle of MAGA Republicans. However, Trump has also said from day one that stopping Iran from getting a nuclear weapon (by which they mean stopping Iran from enriching uranium to the necessary 98% weapons grade uranium) is as fundamental to MAGA as any policy is. It was obvious during this period that Trump did have a dilemma & had to decide which path to go down would be the lesser of two evils. Because the military operation was such a success & not a single US serviceman or woman was harmed, even Trump's biggest haters couldn't deny he made the correct choice.
