A Child Sex Assault fugitive fled 1,200 miles & spent 8 months on the run, but was arrested yesterday by the U.S. Marshals in McAllen, TX. Roy VILLARREAL, wanted by @BroomfieldPD for felony sexual assault of a child under age 15, was caught yesterday in Texas. #FugitiveFriday

Tuesday night, COVOTF TFOs from the Alamosa County Sheriff's Office & Alamosa P.D. arrested fugitive Charles SHAMBLIN near W 10th & Hwy 285 in Alamosa. SHAMBLIN is wanted for 1st Deg Murder by the Sequoyah County Sheriff in Oklahoma. Full press release: ow.ly/uKc750YTB2a

The Colorado Violent Offender Task Force (COVOTF) Denver Metro team has completed a 10-day fugitive operation targeting violent offenders wanted in Jefferson County. Operation Gateway Sweep netted 24 fugitive arrests, clearing 39 felony warrants & 15 misdemeanors.

Fugitive Katherine MARTINEZ was arrested Tuesday by COVOTF Deputy U.S. Marshals & Task Force Officers (TFOs) from @LakewoodPDCO, @dcsheriff, & @CBI_Colorado. MARTINEZ was wanted by Lakewood PD on a felony warrant for Robbery and located near W Florida & S Irving in Denver.

Colorado Violent Offender Task Force (COVOTF) TFOs from @CBI_Colorado arrested fugitive Abraham AGUIRRE near 92nd & Sheridan in Westminster on Tuesday. AGUIRRE is wanted by @Austin_Police on a felony warrant for Indecency with a Child by Contact.

COVOTF DUSMs & TFOs from @LakewoodPDCO, @dcsheriff, @CBI_Colorado, & @BldrCOSheriff located fugitive Manuel BARGAS, wanted by CDOC for escape on 1st Deg Assault & Robbery. BARGAS barricaded briefly, but was arrested by Lakewood & @WheatRidgePD West Metro SWAT near 16th & Fenton.

Fugitive Justin HUFFMAN, wanted by @UtahCorrections for Sexual Abuse of a Child, was arrested today in Aurora, Colorado. COVOTF Deputy U.S. Marshals & TFOs from @LakewoodPDCO, @CBI_Colorado, @BldrCOSheriff, & @dcsheriff found him at a bus stop near E Colfax & I-225.

Our COVOTF TFO from @PoliceEnglewood tracked down fugitive Ramon RAMIREZ, who is wanted by Englewood PD for felony Sexual Exploitation of a Child. With that intel, the U.S. Marshals' Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in Austin, TX arrested RAMIREZ today near I-35 & W Parmer Ln.

COVOTF Deputy US Marshals & TFOs from @dcsheriff, @LakewoodPDCO, & @PoliceEnglewood located & arrested fugitive Jason CHADWICK near W 144th & Huron St Friday afternoon. CHADWICK is wanted by @BldrCOSheriff for possession of a weapon by a prev. offender and felony drug charges.
