July 14, 1993: The State Partnership between the Illinois National Guard and the Polish military is established. It was among the first and remains one of the most effective. The Illinois National Guard deployed with every Polish rotation to Iraq and Afghanistan from 2003-2020.

Always Ready, Always There! When rising floodwaters threatened a campsite, the @Missouri_NG answered the call, flying UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters to safely evacuate more than 200 children and staff from Camp Taum Sauk.

Always Ready, Always There!

It was a privilege to speak with my fellow senior enlisted leaders and help kick off the Command Sergeants Major Advisory Council conference at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center in Starke, Florida. For two days, they are addressing core issues affecting our Soldiers by streamlining systems, updating policies, and instituting necessary reforms for the enlisted force.  It’s always great to speak with senior enlisted leaders deeply committed to taking care of our Soldiers. I’m proud of their professionalism and steadfast focus on readiness and the future of our force.

Proud to join our senior enlisted leaders as we took on the Army Combat Fitness Test, reinforcing our commitment to strengthening readiness across our formations!

Yesterday, Gen. Carden, vice chief of the National Guard Bureau, and @NGB_SEA Raines saw our warfighters in action during day one of the Army National Guard Best Warrior Competition, hosted by the @FLGuard! These 14 Soldiers, representing seven regions, are putting their tactical and technical proficiencies to the test during this full-spectrum assessment of Soldier skills, leadership, character and resilience. Good luck to all of the competitors. You represent the excellence, lethality and warrior ethos that drives our Guard! #AlwaysReadyAlwaysThere

It was an honor to join fellow senior enlisted leaders from across the Joint Force at the Military Officers Association of America Senior Enlisted Leaders Forum to engage in meaningful discussions on the issues that matter most to those who serve. Our greatest advantage is not found in our equipment or technology, it is found in our people. Every Soldier, Airman, Sailor, Marine, Guardian, and Coast Guardsman contributes to our nation’s readiness through their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to service. When we invest in our people, support our military families, and build resilient, ready formations, we strengthen the entire Joint Force. Thank you to the Military Officers Association of America for bringing senior enlisted leaders together to continue these important conversations. Through collaboration, shared experiences, and a commitment to learning from one another, we continue to strengthen the force and prepare for today’s missions and tomorrow’s challenges.
