@djodjeee_ I'd be harder on Cole if @TheLewisTan wasnt such a positive ambassador for these movies and the franchise. A lot of MK lore comes from the OG movie - can't the same thing happen here? Or, just turn him into another character going forward - I can think of at least one 😄

The explanation of Cole being the audience’s insight into this world was an ok explanation actually

I think Cole being hated is also a product of fans not accepting something new to the franchise imo

I would greatly prefer writers not bother to even acknowledge these inane applications of real-world logic to fantasy worlds, but if they’re going to they could at least try to do something interesting with it instead of trying to write screenshots for social media

That said, with regard to my previous quote on this, I was reading the “Batman by Chip Zdarsky Omnibus” that came out last week. It remains amazing how *insistent* modern Batman comics are that the billionaire vigilante who recruits child soldiers is *not* problematic.

it's an weird question but I'm serious. let's say 5 minutes to go away at the etihad if odegaard starts kissing rice, not a single defender will be watching the ball, leaving martinelli open for a free goal. would odegaard and rice be sent off or would the goal count, thoughts?
