Making excuses for almighty Michael Carrick, our defeat to 10 men Newcastle has nothing to do with playing one week interval or 3 days, Carrick was tactically outclassed by Howe and perhaps we played crystal palace 3 days before the Newcastle game. Your excuse is invalid.

City were all over a Newcastle side that were all over us on Wednesday. Will say it again but Man Utd really need to organise a friendly game or two. 1 game in 35 days is really not going to help the players, and we have seen it with slow starts/ tempo... it's like pre-season where we need time to get up to it. The gaps are just to long, being out of Europe can give us an advantage but being out of the FA cup so early has given us a disadvantage as we kept getting 11 day, 13 day and 22 day breaks between games.

Kobbie Mainoo is just another player just like Pogba and Marcus Rashford who United fans will be crying that he needs a player by his side or a coach to unlock him.
Put Bruno in any team and you know he is a 10 (CAM) immediately, likewise Amad but put Kobbie Mainoo in any team and you can’t tell if he is an 8, 6 or a 10.
Kobbie doesn’t need anyone to unlock him but to be a specialist in a role and improve otherwise fans will be blinded by their love for Kobbie and blame whatever player he partners with.
