The intersection between billionaires, states, etc, and the ownership of beloved clubs and sports franchises is regularly a moral disaster for the average person. Most often you just hope they shut their mouth, enjoy the sport, and don't say things like what was said today.

That game. That result. That performance. It is absolutely a representation of our 2025. Disgraceful is an understatement.

@hookk @TorayKortan In a few years time newcomers will say the same about this cycle, we literally have the perfect buying opportunity on almost all alts (all-time lows) we will look back on this and think why didn’t we buy more.

@TorayKortan I've been around for 3 cycles and are in a similar position as you but I am not gonna delusionally say this cycle is the same. No bad energy. Just reality. This cycle is nowhere near the same as the last two and like you, I'm glad it's not make or break for me.

Current meta has been long with some size, move SL to profit, when SL is hit on pullbacks in this stupid range other alts just keep going lower, sigh at how incredibly gay the market is being, rotate profits from lev into cheaper alts, repeat. Leaving smaller lev/size swing to run without the hassle and added stress. Could have realistically just left these to run but better off getting the best of both worlds seeing as the market isn’t making life easy. I wanted to delve into leverage more since moving to Dubai: 1) Because it’s more accessible than the UK 2) To get a better understanding of crypto psychology and understand why participants are so highly emotional over the smallest of moves Today as an example… we’re nowhere near the current 21st November low… yet my TL is in shambles. Being a spot only dude for so long I’ve always been hella chilled, weather any drawdown, see any dip as opportunities in the right area, just an overall calm and stress free approach to trading. I’ve just never been able to understand why there’s so much panic when small moves are taking place on the Daily, Weekly and Monthly. Now I’ve started running and testing different lev levels, I’ve started understanding where the emotions are coming from. Very different to FX, especially with accessibility to higher leverage. One thing I would say from the offset, is regardless of your trading style, leverage and risk threshold in crypto, always ensure you maintain that daily, weekly and monthly outlook. It’s very easy to fall down the rabbit hole of going lower and lower down the timeframes. Once you’re stuck there and you lose focus of your surroundings and the bigger picture, moves seem more significant… emotions become heightened. I’ve personally always found just mapping out key possible pullback areas on a daily, weekly and monthly TF even for lower TF leverage plays makes life significantly easier. It makes sense why emotions are brazy. Most are probably on lower TFs and being liquidated rapidly, especially in conditions like this, which is heightening the emotional control the market has over them. If you can’t handle volatility in just spot, you’re likely over-invested. Work on perfecting that before even bothering with leverage as the losses are actually solidified and realised, whereas spot allows you to condition yourself to handle losses in unrealised form and build more emotional resilience. It’s not for everyone and I don’t really think most should do it. Just my 2 cents.

So with the recent announcement that @Veloprotocol are launching Orbit+ in countries in SEA and some of the countries, traditionally under the western influence, like Australia, i was wondering how that actually works. So, since i am based in Australia, I started to dig into the rabbit hole. And, yep, there i found everything i needed to find. About a year ago, i believe around Dec 2024, @lightnetgroup entered into a partnership with Convera global. Having moved from Convera to Lightnet, Ayman El Aina was Lightnet's commercial director for their Oceania operations. Convera Australia Pty Ltd holds an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL 404092) from ASIC, authorizing them to provide financial services like foreign exchange contracts, derivatives, and payment solutions in Australia. They are regulated in Australia for services such as spot/forward FX, options, and global payment processing for both retail and wholesale clients Convera in fact has over 60 similar licenses all over the world: HK, New Zealand, Europe, and including 54 licenses in various US states. Lightnet have been quietly building a network of regional partners everywhere in the world, partners that hold various licenses relevant to various markets and regions. Problem is you have not heard about these partnerships. But they do exist. linkedin.com/posts/premmana… linkedin.com/in/aymanelaina… convera.com/en-au/complian… #velo $velo
