I think what annoys me the most about Benjamin Sesko at Manchester United is that he faced criticism from the likes of Gary Neville in a period where he actually did NOT deserve it. He was impacting games, scoring goals, linking up well with teammates and good old Gary thought it would be a good idea to ‘stir the pot’ for absolutely no reason. The media latched on, and it became this common thing to say he was going through a ‘difficult’ start and was ‘struggling’ As a result, it’s got into his head and now he is ACTUALLY struggling. Maybe you could say he should be mentally strong enough to ignore the critics, but people forget he’s only 22 years-old himself and is going through a lot of change so early in his career. He’s joined a club where the spotlight is always on you, where any slight mistake is exaggerated and new narratives form off the bounce of it. My point is, Gary started a pile on that didn’t need to exist, and intentionally or not, has actually affected Sesko’s own game and the general feeling towards him. A situation that didn’t need to exist has come into fruition, and it just annoys me. Footballers aren’t robots.

2022/23 — 12 points after 7 games 2025/26 — 10 points after 7 games In 22/23, United finished 3rd after getting humiliated 3 times in the first 7 games (Brentford, Brighton, City). This is why I say it’s too early to talk about sacking the manager. You need at least 10 to 15 games to know how the season will go. Based on the expectations for this year, this start of the season is not bad at all. Only for United fans, being 6-7 points off 1st place is a tragedy. Such a reactionary fanbase.

This team is completely different when it’s Amad and not a fullback out wide on that right side. Hope Amorim recognizes he can never compromise on that.

The fanbase is screaming for the manager's head but this time because he’s NOT abandoning his philosophy and NOT accommodating the players. This fanbase don't even know what they want. Change managers until you find the right one? Hasn't the club done just that? Literally changed managers every two seasons and every single one of them post-Fergie was hated. The next manager will deal with the same thing. The one after him? 100% the same treatment. And you know why? Because people think someone will just show up, wave a magic stick and Manchester United will be Premier League champions again. The delusion is insane. Everyone wants a rebuild, unless it's TIME for the rebuild. The club should not be affected by outside noise.
