Matheus Cunha on Instagram to Kobbie Mainoo: “Okay Kob, I’ll get your Brazilian passport 😮💨”

Should be easy enough to offload. Encouraging links from Italy.

Abdul El-Sayed: “Donald Trump is not himself the disease of our politics, he’s just the worst symptom of the disease. The disease is the system that allows big corporations and billionaires, special interests like AIPAC to buy and sell politicians. They use their money to rig our system against us. It’s why we pay more for the stuff we gotta buy, get paid less for the work we do, and watch our tax dollars misappropriated to drop bombs on other people’s kids rather than to invest in our own”

The manager situation has been one of uncertainty and confliction with a lot of fans confused on what the club are actually doing, so I'm going to try give a bit of an overview from what I've heard, as of the time i'm tweeting this. It's been very well reported that Michael Carrick is the favourite for the permanent role. A lot of people within the club like him due to his calm and composed personality and how's he's done since joining in January. The plan was always to appoint a permanent in the summer but he's done so well, he's being considered for the permanent role. One thing I've heard is that there is a level of hesitation and wariness amongst senior officials regarding Carrick. This doesn't mean he won't get the job, but there's concerns regarding whether he can play a sustainable brand of football long-term and be the man to win us trophies given his experience. I expect some level of formal talks with candidates in the near future however it's not inaccurate to say Carrick is in the lead. I also know this: Julian Nagelsmann is admired internally with some form of contact with his representatives held - just to see his availability and viability. #MUFC have liked him for years now and wanted him when ETH got sacked. Vivell has advocated for him internally. The main obstacle has always been and will be the world cup as the German manager is open to joining. Jason Wilcox, Omar Berrada and co all know this decision could potentially impact the club's futures for the next decade given the failure of how they dealt with the ten Hag and Ruben Amorim situation. This is why there has been a lack of movement and updates as they take caution with every step. 'Whatever decision they decide to do, it MUST be right', is the feeling internally.

With Anderson potentially heading to City, securing the below 3 profiles would perfectly complement what we already have in Kobbie: ▶️ Tchouaméni: Provides an elite physical presence, reliable distribution, and veteran experience on the biggest stages. ▶️ Wharton: Offers exceptional verticality in his passing and a natural ability to progress the ball through the lines. ▶️ M. Fernandes: A complete technician with tactical flexibility; he's capable of driving the play, dribbling, and putting in the defensive work. Baleba as a backup/alternative for #1 and #3. #MUFC

@Erwin6_ Jim knows we have to go big or go home

🚨 BREAKING: Manchester United are preparing an official bid worth €40m in fixed terms for Eduardo Conceição, with bonuses still to be defined. United have already initiated contacts and are now working to formalise their proposal. #MUFC [@MailSport]
