We are saddened to share the news that one of our students, Daniella Gamboa Pabon, has passed away unexpectedly. Daniella was a fourth-year Ph.D. student in our Biomedical Science Program studying neuroscience and neurological disorders.

Kevin Lee, an MS4 @OhioStateMed + newly matched into Neurology was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer in March of 2024. Since his diagnosis, he’s had a brain biopsy, multiple LPs, and just finished his first round of chemotherapy.
