All that keeps this issue propped up in Blue States is the unanimity of the Democratic party's representatives in their drive to thwart the will of their own voters to forbid any woman from drawing a boundary between herself and any man who says he is a woman, a cause that the party has decreed "the civil rights movement of the 21st century Blue States have exhibited a willingness to place at risk billions in federal funding in order to defy the federal government and the majority of their own voters. Fortunately, the transgender movement's goal of thwarting pluralism, liberalism, and democracy, which the movement rightly regards as necessary to the attainment of its agenda, faces a serious challenge in the form of ballot initiatives that will allow voters to participate in the legislative process directly. Democrats who feel that the astroturfed pseudo-consensus that keeps them pledged to fight this losing issue should welcome this opportunity to be defeated by their own voters and get this ludicrous travesty of a civil rights movement off of their back across Blue America. All those stupid or venal or sheeplike enough to believe that forbidding women to draw a boundary between themselves and any man who claims to be a woman is a real civil rights cause rather than dispositive proof that the civil rights narrative has reached its terminus should understand that they are headed toward the dustbin of history. Congratulations to Erin Lee for her tremendous work in making this happen against unbelievable odds. Democracy is still alive in America.
