Good morning to you sir IGP @TunjiDisu1 It was reported that you have ordered Dpo Satellite town in Lagos to bring the policemen involved in the recent viral video to Abuja on Wednesday 8th April, 2026 for disciplinary action. We want to humbly request you televise the disciplinary action live on social media. over the years we only hear “audio disciplinary action” no proper disciplinary action in the real time when clip like this goes viral, because before you know it the same officers are back on the road doing their unlawful and criminal jobs. So pls televise your own disciplinary action on these particular police officers that was caught in that viral clip, let Nigerians know your own is not “audio” I don’t think this is too much to ask, Have a nice Easter celebration as we Nigerians expect your action regarding this request. RT plss.

@Sifon_Bassey It is not by structure. As usual, from your namez one can tell. Obi renovated 450 + schools and built a few. What was the outcome? No be by fine school. And till tomorrow, Abia still trumps AKS in education index.

You are owing someone money and the person brought Police to arrest you, this is what you should do. At first, the police have no legal authority to arrest you for a simple debt, as it is a civil matter and not a criminal offense. According to the Police Act 2020 and the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA), the police are strictly prohibited from interfering in civil disputes or acting as debt collectors Meaning that, the Police officer the person brought to arrest you, is on illegal duty and is on a mission to perform illegal arrest. So at this point. 1. Ask the Police officer for his ID and take note of his name 2. Calmly tell the officer it's a civil matter 3. If the officer insist on arresting you, don't resist the arrest. Follow him 4. If they ask you to sign any undertaking of when you will pay back, sign it That undertaking is not enforceable anywhere, so no fear at all Once you are out File a suit against the person you owe and the Police Officer for breach of your fundamental human right and illegal arrest with unlawful detention In the suit, demand for damages of 50 Million Naira Ignorance of the law is no excuse © The people's parliament

N240m Fraud:  Supreme Court Affirms  Conviction and Sentence of Senator Albert Bassey
The Supreme Court of Nigeria on Friday, February 27, 2026  affirmed the decision of the trial Court and Court of Appeal that convicted and sentenced Senator Albert Bassey to seven years imprisonment and the restitution of the sum of N204m ( Two Hundred and Four Million Naira) to Akwa Ibom State.
The decision of the five- man panelist of the apex court delivered by Justice Stephen Jonah Adah,  having reviewed the appeal of the appellant, came to the conclusion that the decision of the Court of Appeal  is affirmed but the order of restitution which the High court made but ignored by the Court of Appeal was restored.
“The order of this court is that the conviction and sentencing imposed by the lower court on the 23 day of June 2023 on the appellant is hereby affirmed but the order of the lower court avoiding the order of restitution given by the trial court did not follow the law, so it is revised and the right order is to nullify same and thereby the restitution of sum of N204 million made by the trial court is restored",  he said.
Bassey`s journey to the prison started following his prosecution by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC,  led by prosecution counsel,  Ekele Iheanacho SAN before Justice Agatha Okeke of the Federal High Court in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State for receiving bribes of 12 cars worth N254 million as Commissioner for Finance in Akwa Ibom State.   He was convicted on all the seven-count charges against him and sentenced to seven years in prison for each charge, totaling 42 years on Thursday, December 1, 2022.
However, the defendant proceeded to the  appellate court to which the three man panel led by Justice Rapheal Chikwe Agbo upheld the conviction but with an option of fine before the apex court struck out the judgement in parts.

@devil_signature @romeocza Oga, calm down, jare. The history of what the Biafran army did to my people was never even taught in school. I heard those details firsthand from my late grandmother of blessed memory. Your forefathers did us dirty.

@romeocza The majority of you attended history class at noon, how then could you recall the history properly since you were not taught. Or, perhaps you got briefed in a drinking parlour. For a fact, it was the Nigerian-Gowon soldiers that rained havoc on our land and our people.
