There's this lady I know who is in a serious relationship. Her boyfriend is abroad. I didn't know my hubby knows her too, but from a completely different place. Apparently, he had known this lady with another guy even before we met. Somehow, we realized we both know her, but from different circles. Anytime we talk about her, my hubby always says he hopes the abroad boyfriend doesn't end up settling with her. Because while she's busy acting like a good girl to the boyfriend abroad, she's also involved with another guy here in Nigeria. I really pity people in long distance relationships like this.

Someone tapped me from behind and handed me an egg roll just before dismissal in church today. I leaned closer to her and whispered, “I’m not a first timer,” and she smiled and said, “I know.” Out of curiosity, I looked around and noticed everyone was receiving egg roll too. So I asked the lady beside me, “Is this how you people share egg roll here?” She smiled and said, “It’s welfare team. They do this every Sunday.” She then asked if it was my first time worshipping there, and I explained that I just come around once in a while since it’s close to my house. She nodded and went on to explain they share snacks and sometimes proper food, just to make sure members don’t go home hungry after service. Wow! Honestly, I was amazed. The first time I came, I thought it was just for first timers, not knowing it’s actually a normal thing here. On my way out, one of the ushers who noticed me the first day I came stopped me to greet me. Then she said, “Hope you’ll worship with us again soon.” I smiled… Worship with you again soon keeh?
