I have various auto-immune diagnoses. And a rheumatologist who has been less than super helpful. Primary symptoms - severe arthritis and joint pain & swelling. All over. It doesn't help that I also have grade 4 osteoarthritis in both ankles from years of training on them while they were broken. The last two years have been an all out battle with my body. I have managed it, to some extent, with medication. I don't hate all of western medicine. Though it is possible, I know, that western medicine caused this. But it's not working anymore. I'm in pain. I've got a high pain tolerance, I broke my femur and came back from it to win a national championship 9 months later (perhaps that was a mistake, I realize). Point being, I can get through a lot. But this is kind of brutal. I'm ready to try all the diet stuff. Though I hate weird food restrictions, as it all takes me back to my days as an anorexic. I'll set that aside. I'm ready. I'm thinking Paleo which is supposedly good for inflammation. No cheese, for me, is a bitch. I really love cheese. And no pretzels, my favorite snack, also a bitch. I'm weirdly pretzel-obsessed. But I'll do it. Worth a try. If my hips and wrists and back and hands stop hurting all the time. Who does anti-inflammation diet(s), what do you do, how has it helped? And how do I give up cheese, one of my favorite things in the world? Holistic peeps, doctors, health nuts... tell me what's up.

Casually cruising at the M3P’s 263km/h (163mph) top speed on the Autobahn. (LG) Looks super stable. Germans are just built different! lol

Remember that when fat people tell you they can't lose weight even when they're starving themselves—they're lying.
