I have to go on a rant because @NoLayingUp has been so blind, lazy & incredulous on #LIVGolf but also the overall vision for global golf from the beginning (and are still blind to it). And it’s frustrating to me as a long time listener & former fan. They’re a perfect example of what happens when you live inside of an echo chamber for too long - which is pretty much what the #golf establishment has been too, which they are now clearly part of. ➡️ They’ve had so many blind spots on LIV from the beginning it’s ridiculous. ➡️ They’re still peddling this idiocy for 2 years that LIV / teams aren’t going to somehow exist in 2025. So LIV wouldn’t be around in 2022, then 2023, then 2024, now 2025? STFU, respectfully. ➡️ The only thing that’s been unequivocally proven is that they are NOT qualified to talk about anything LIV in way shape or form. If you’ve been as wrong as you have, you should cede your time. It’s over. Done. Ballgame. ➡️ The problem is, people actually listen to this drivel and subscribe to this idiocy. If I wasn’t as educated as I am now, I probably would too. ➡️ They can’t even *say* June 6 without thinking January 6 😂. Trump Derangenent Syndrome in a nutshell. This thinking drives so many bad takes its WILD. ➡️ Forced laughs at the same old talking points for 18 months is so lazy & dumb. 🚮🗑️ ➡️ “No ones watching”, yet LIV attendance is going to exceed 1 million fans in attendance in 2024. 0 acknowledgement. ➡️ Randy: “There are so many douchebags in golf.” YES. ALL OF YOU MELTS. Especially @TronCarterNLU. ➡️ KVV is really trying to peddle that Rahm is going to somehow be LESS of who he is and LESS authentic going to LIV. What f*cking planet is he living on?! Completely blind & out of touch. Again. ➡️ I still think there are inherent conflicts of interest with Excel Sports Management that is going to come out in 2024. It’s clear there are agendas at play that they’re pushing at the behest of @excelsm. I feel very confident about this. Evidence is everywhere. Hopefully we get the full story soon. They couldn’t say anything positive if they wanted to. ➡️ I really think they should get out in front of this, issue some mea culpas now - maybe @BigRandyNLU needs to leave & tell the story once he’s gone? ➡️ A reminder: Pro Golf was SO interesting in 2020–1 that you had to fill podcast time by TALKING ABOUT ANOTHER F*CKING SPORT! (F1) That you haven’t even mentioned since LIV came on the scene. Are you joking?! ➡️ By the way - it was Yasir that sold Rahm on the #LIVGolf plan directly. Truth of the matter is, building this takes vision. He has it. Greg has it. Phil has it. LIV has it. I have it. You don’t have it. Jay M doesn’t. You’re both short sighted. No vision. ➡️ Constantly bitching & moaning about current state of golf, bad TV product & all the constant complaining about the broadcasts when it’s been solved. LIV & Netflix Cup both solved the commercial load issue. But you complained about both. It’s blindness or willful ignorance. Maybe both. ➡️ To reiterate, you’ve had blind spots on this from the start. Bad takes from the start. Peddling dumb talking points that have been debunked over & over again eroding your credibility. You’ve clearly been out of your depth on this stuff and out over your skis. I need some self-awareness. I need some accountability. YOU ARE THE #CORRUPTGOLFMEDIA. All of you.
