Ultra Quest

This is a monologue I wrote and filmed about a year ago, the set up essentially is that it's Batman giving Superman a piece of his mind, after a catastrophe.

What just kind of hit me, that now in retrospect seems like it's rather obvious, but it just kind of occurred to me right now, is that this artist here, he really shaped such a huge chunk of SG1. Obviously there was a lot in general that was cool about the series, but as a sci-fi fan, the look of all the future tech adds massively to the fun factor, at least for me, and it seems like this guy contributed a very significant amount of that.

Yes, absolutely. I looked up the ingredients on their website: Grillo's Pickles®, Bananas, Apple Juice Blend, Kiwi Apple Juice Blend, Electrolyte Blend, Coconut Water, Kale - Organic That looks a heck of a lot tastier than just a pickle smoothie. I think their marketing campaign could use some work. Bananas, apples, kiwi, coconut... adding pictures of those instead of just pickles solo would probably boost their sales significantly.

Apparently they kill a dog in the new Punisher: One Last Kill. Reason enough for me not to check it out.

I'm loving these Hulk covers. When the Grey Hulk was reintroduced I thought it was the coolest thing ever. So much more of a nuanced, interesting, and fun character. So much more depth. Todd Mcfarelane had just recently been hired as the penciler, although this cover was a different artist, and it's really cool to see his style go from a very John Bryne inspired look to what his signature style would eventually become.

You know it occurred to me that even though Valla has proven himself in many ways including her willingness to sacrifice herself for the team (when she flew the cargo ship to interrupt the supergate) she still is kind of a theif, and I can't stand/don't trust theives, and given Thor's vast knowledge and extreme intelligence, I'm changing my vote to Thor. Although ultimately I think T'pol or Jadzia would be an overall better choice. It's also of note that the male to female ratio is too high. I would think the ideal ratio for a crew including "background actors" lol would be 50:50 as a practicality to keep people from fighting over members of the opposite sex, something that is really not good on a long term mission.

Anything you buy or use should have accurate labeling, so I agree with you on that. When you buy food, you want to know what the ingredients are. It's the same with music, you want to know who the artist is, and that includes whether or not the music was created by a human. As a human independent EDM producer/songwriter, I appreciate your stance on this. It's going to be a hard thing to enforce, though. If someone generates the instrumental portion of a song with AI, and then sings over it themselves, unless they admit to it, it's kind of hard to prove that they generated the song with AI.

I strongly dislike AI-generated music. It is soulless and displacing artists on streaming platforms. At minimum, AI songs should be labeled appropriately so consumers can more easily choose to avoid it. Let's be pro-human art and creativity.

On This Day in Supervillain History 59 years ago, Superman's Girlfriend, Lois Lane #75 marked the debut of the virtuoso villain known as Maestro (not to be confused with other villains of the same name) who used his technology to give Superman temporary amnesia.

Tough call, Valla is extremely resourceful, spunky, and really good at thinking outside the box. Thor, on the other hand, has that beyond genius Asgardian brain, along with all of his knowledge, but we know he has difficulty thinking outside the box, that's why he needed to recruit Carter who eventually came up with the idea to use the O'Neill (Asgardian War Ship) as bait to destroy some replicators. So some might say Thor's thinking is never outside the box, he's pretty much box obsessed 😁. My brain says Thor, but my heart says Valla, and we already have Data, so I'm gonna go with Valla.

@BaronDestructo I'm going with Nog here. I always thought he was such an interesting character. I love the way the actor portrayed him also.
