You gotta realize it’s not the youths obligation to sacrifice their lives and futures to fix the problems that have been caused by previous generations. We should be able to have choices too.

I really like the acquaintances you meet that are the harshest critics to your face but come to your defense when other people insult your work.

@Sir_Shep Sometimes it feels like everytime I meet someone with bipolar they let it make their life’s somewhat disfunctional. I don’t want that to be you bro, you got this.

@Sir_Shep I was diagnosed back in the day too, I didn’t enjoy taking the mood stabilizers and asked to stop and they said that it’s exactly what someone with bipolar would want. Regardless adjusting my lifestyle from stagnating led to fewer downward swings without even meds.

Being bipolar with depression is fun. Can't even enjoy life right now.

When I was growing up, my parents bought me cheap golf clubs from Costco I cursed those clubs every day because I thought that’s why I was a bad golfer So I saved up, bought nice clubs, and realized I was a shit golfer Great life lesson in there

I feel like when I get old I’ll be deaf because of loud music but I do it because it makes it easier to daydream and that just makes life all the more exciting.

Haven’t quite thought of how to do a great tcp proxy implementation either. Perhaps I anycast a /24 and ECMP to all nodes and have the session sticky to a container placement it’s just a lot to setup.

I made my http proxy for Containify that handles updates to container placements moving nodes. Now I really need to focus up on storage.

People inevitably will start gatekeeping knowledge like they do in the trades because with llms that may be their only product moat.

@Shreyassanthu77 @davis7 I don’t really like how there isn’t a clean way to handle protected routes with them as it’s like an arbitrary endpoint while in +hooks.server.ts or traditional ts apis you can easily invoke middleware since the route path is deterministic. I end up repeating lots of auth.

@UltraSive @davis7 oh? Whyy i don't see any reason to not use them unless you need to have a stable public API for other clients

Looking good. You forgot to change the favicon. I see that you are still using Svelte. Nice. I would say don't try to compete with Railway or Netlify or anything of sorts. I wasted time with that. Pick a thing that you want to do, just like blacksmith.sh decided to do drop in replacement for CI/CD builders for github. One thing I would suggest are the simple minimalistic emails, cli managed if you want to, with ability to attach your own custom domains. And a cost of 2 or 3 dollars a year. You can use this foxcpp/maddy, that's a go smpt server, I use it myself. Or create something like TecharoHQ/anubis and then provide cloud for that along side opensource version.

I have some pretty good ideas on how I can build my container hosting platform to be reliable and scalable. If you’re ever interested in hosting web apps or discord bots hit me up.
