Your partner’s current life is your future life. “When you select a partner, whether you realise it or not, you are choosing a whole lifestyle, and not just the person. You’re choosing their sleep schedule. You’re choosing their money habits. You’re choosing their stress levels, their family drama, their levels of cleanliness, their work ethic, their coping mechanisms. All of these things will be a baseline of your daily life. If their normal is doom scrolling till 2 a.m., avoiding all conflict, impulse spending and never exercising, guess what? You’re signing up to live in that ecosystem. Love does not cancel out people’s flaws. In fact, love just makes you tolerate them for longer. Most people obsess over ‘do we have romantic chemistry?’ And they completely skip ‘can I live with this person’s version of Tuesday every week for the next 10 years?’ The hard truth is, you don’t fix somebody’s lifestyle from the inside. You either accept the package as they are or you walk.” — @Markmanson

I’ll likely never post about this again, but I felt compelled as someone many young women look up to and often misunderstand. I love my husband. I love my independence. I love being a CEO. But more than anything, I love love. Somehow we’ve been told we have to choose: Be strong or be soft. Be ambitious or be nurturing. Be independent or value men. But the truth is, the most fulfilled women I know live on the AND, not the OR. I want to build companies, lead teams, land make big decisions all day and I also want to come home, let my husband make decisions and cook for him because it brings me joy and comfort. That duality doesn’t make me less. It makes me a human. Being independent is empowering… but dependence (the healthy kind) is what creates closeness. It’s what builds trust, connection, and a life that’s bigger than what you can do alone. Somewhere along the way, hyper-individual culture convinced us that needing no one was the ultimate achievement. That being self-sufficient in every area was the goal. But that mindset the one that keeps you guarded, controlled, relentlessly “strong” is the exact energy that can quickly erode your relationship. At work, that energy makes you extraordinarily successful. At home, it makes you intolerable. I see so many women struggling with this not because they’re wrong, but because no one ever taught them the tools to thrive in BOTH spaces. An adaptive trait at work, is often maladaptive at home. Meanwhile, a lot of girls are busy trying to impress other girls on IG… polishing an image instead of building a life. Somehow it became “uncool” to love men, appreciate them, depend on them, or let them be what they want to be. Unfiltered truth: If you refuse to depend on your man for anything, you remove the very thing most men find meaning in to provide, protect, and build something with you. Not because you’re weak. But because you’re worth providing for. And men feel this deeply … even when they don’t say it. Women feel it too the desire to contribute in ways that aren’t measured in dollars, but in presence, warmth, and care. This isn’t about choosing tradition or modernity and it is NOT about choosing men over yourself. It’s about the courage to want a life that includes both strength and softness, ambition and partnership, independence and interdependence. I love my independence. I love my husband. But the real power .. or even *magic* is choosing a life where both can exist without canceling each other out. A life where love isn’t a threat to your strength but the very thing that makes you stronger.

This feels like a nightmare. One of the most horrific things I’ve ever seen. I feel absolutely gutted and devastated. Pray for Charlie Kirk’s soul, his young family and for our country. The violence and hatred has to stop. Our country needs Christ now more than ever.

I’m pleased to say Stripe has reached out to resolve this strange issue, which appears to have begun with a government administrative error rather than intentional de-banking. As we investigate, I’m even more pleased to say that we’re also exploring legislative solutions to the lack of transparency that often makes these issues unresolvable for countless Americans. Will discuss more on the show and keep everyone posted as this develops.
Michael Knowles@michaeljknowles

Hi, @Stripe. Are we still doing this de-banking thing? Was it something I said? If we say that men can’t be women, if we donate to pro-life charities, if we oppose two men buying eggs, renting wombs, and commoditizing babies… Does that come at the cost of de-banking?

95% of people shouldn’t be running a business. → Can’t read → Can’t listen → Can’t answer 2 questions in one reply → Can’t solve basic problems with screenshots handed to them It’s not a mindset issue. It’s basic functional incompetence.

It would be, for me it’s about the opportunity to represent America at the White House. I don’t care who I fight that night. I found my reason why, that’s what I needed, something that was more than money

For those of you building a “personal brand” Here’s some genuine advice from me to you. I don’t know if I’ve done it the right way (if there is one), but I’ve made enough money to retire the people I love, and I live a very happy, very fucking exciting life. hope this helps🤙
Blake Rocha@MrFourToEight

Appreciate the kind words. The first thing to do is START. Most people don’t even make it past this step. Everything I do today is authentic and strategic. I had no businesses or no fucking idea what I was doing when I started creating content. The truth is, I’ve built a machine that makes me to make more money than I know what to do with while creating content when I want and having the ability to pivot laterally as I develop as a entrepreneur. The secret is INFOTAINMENT. What I mean by this is I’m just as strategic about selling my offers and giving out business game as I am with telling stories, sharing parts of my life, being myself. The combination of giving value to people, being authentic, and entertaining is a recipe for a really fucking good life and a couple million in the bank. Write down the pillars that define you - mine are health - steak, organic, functional fitness, autoimmune disease business - Airbnb, ai (new), info products motivation - mindset manifestation dreaming self belief lifestyle - Porsche, surfer, out the way, investor, value family and friends Unfollow everyone on IG and TikTok that don’t create amazing + inspirational content. You aren’t in high school anymore, all the content you consume should be stimulating you to come up with ideas on how to rework. Always write your own copy for the first couple years, ideally forever if you can. Nobody knows you better than you. Can’t ask ChatGPT to write you scripts and think they’ll work if you read them off. If you like my personal brand, study what I do. Imagine you paid me $100k to learn how to build an empire around your social media, funnel hack me, breakdown my story sequences, reverse engineer my hooks. Don’t copy me bar for bar, add your own twist. This works bc when you pay money, you pay attention. Just some words of advice. Hope this helps. Best of luck with your journey,, Godspeed legend.

That’s the problem with some young men, you think your last outcome is your legacy. That’s why when many of you fall short, you can’t find the strength to return. But here’s the truth: your legacy isn’t your last move. Legacy is what no one can take from you. It’s built over time, not defined by a single win or loss. If you’re reading this, your legacy is far from over. We wake up each day with a chance to build, to add, to rise. Make yours beautiful.

I still have desires. Still have goals. But I don’t feel compelled anymore. And that’s a better kind of freedom than money ever gave me. Most guys have to go through the full cycle to get it. There’s no shortcut. But once you get it… there’s no going back.

Stop spending just to feel something. Stop chasing noise. Start valuing peace, real people, and God. For me, peace is top of the food chain. I don’t need to be the loudest in the room. I don’t need to beat anyone. And for the first time in a long time — no FOMO.

It’s wild how predictable the cycle is for almost every guy who starts making real money. You chase it hard. The cars. The watches. The penthouse. The validation. The FREEDOM. The “no one can tell me sh*t” energy. Then you get it. You buy the things.
