Hitherto UIDAI has collected Rs 100 for this purpose. They also ‘advised’ me to request again… (so that they can collect another Rs 50) and perhaps they may inform in another 89 days that my request for address updating is rejected! A conglomeration of looting and ineptness…

On 89th day the celebrated UIDAI on query informed me that my request has been rejected? Can a request be rejected? A job of address updating that normally takes 2-3 days, has now took 89 days to simply say ‘rejected’.

It is 60th day since I requested for address updation in my Aadhar card. I am still looking forward to get it updated. Would you ever do it? My SRN is S1334969109000 @UIDAI

@Aadhaar_Care @t_ssinghthink They reply as if they are updating Aadhar within 30 days! In my case it is 85th day today and the updation is yet to be done. UIDAI has become unbelievably useless governmental establishment even when the life of resident has become absolutely static sans updating his Aadhar.

@t_ssinghthink Aadhaar generation/updation process involves various quality checks. That is why Aadhaar generation/updation has a fixed process that takes up to 30 days after the request.

@UIDAI @ceo_uidai In spite of all claims the impression UIDAI has made is it is the most inept governmental entity. There may be people thinking otherwise;not me. It is 78th day since I requested for address update, an infinitesimal job for you, which couldn’t be done by you. So sad!

@sainisurendra96 Normally up to 30 days from the date of enrolment/update, the Aadhaar is generated. Also, once your request is processed, you will be intimated by SMS on your registered mobile number. You may also check the status after few days by visiting our website 1/2

From public feedback at Aadhar HelpCentre I feel UIDAI is static. A resident says he requested update on 04.07.22; Help Centre says the issue is assigned to concerned Division! The resident’s problems are sidelined. In my case the waiting is 63 days with no result so far.@UIDAI

It’s been been 19 days since i have raised request to update my contact details on Aadhar from Postoffice, how much time it will to update. @UIDAI

53 days is a tiny tenure for UIDAI to update address in Aadhar. I requested for updation on 18.11.2022 which is still “under process” it! If UIDAI can’t do it in a reasonable time, say 3 days, why the government is making Aadhar mandatory at many places? Can’t it do away with it?

I wonder why so much time UIDAI takes for updating address to my Aadhar! I requested for update on 18.11.2022 which makes me waiting for 32 days today with no result.This is one of the worst experiences I had encountered from a governmental office. Truly obnoxious and sickening…
