In the NCAA, Black athletes are only in 3 sports in large numbers: football, basketball, and track. So when schools like @UMNews cut track and field, they are cutting their Black athletes who don't make them money. Read my piece in the @StarTribune here: startribune.com/college-sports…

So we got to reading…. AndThere’s a proposed increase for Athletic Director Mark Coyle’s salary. This amendment would increase his annual salary from $1 Million to $1.4 Million. Are you kidding? Does this mean ANOTHER tuition hike is coming to float the extra costs?
