While most people are looking forward to Deepseek V4 Pro, the local AI community is probably hyping up the Flash model even more. Deepseek V4 Flash has been one of the absolute favorites for most local users over the past few months. I’ve also been daily driving it on my M5 Max Macbook for my research. It might fall slightly short of Sonnet 5 level, but even if it gets close, it will be an incredibly useful model for agents running on relatively small hardware.

@josephmiclaus I gave it 2 rust projects , crazy complicated but instead of asking to code the entire project at once i am giving it section by section. I checked the code manually entirely i only found a minor edge case and this is terra and it was working with almost 60k lines of code.

@josephmiclaus If your on goal mode then give it medium level tasks like only upto 5-6Hrs of work if it gies beyond 6 you need sol. But terra max is twice as fast as sol and is of same level of work as sol as long as its only below 5-6hrs of work.
