@WhittersRichard @TimothyImholt If I see someone saying they want their product to “dethrone” D&D I find it useful to I assume their problem is not with the power that WotC holds in the market (a valid problem to want to address), but the fact that WotC holds it and not THEM.

@TimothyImholt Yeah, “taking someone down” isn’t a great way to lead a creative endeavour, I’d totally agree with that. Looking at something and saying “how might I improve that,” is good, I think. Apple used to be quite good at that.

I have said this before, and I'll say it again. If you are creating a fantasy RPG, I wish you luck. You will not dethrone Dungeons and Dragons. It is way too big. That is all.

She’s gone. My little Tesla is gone. For over 15 years, shes been my world. I saved her when she was small enough to fit in my palm, and she grew to be my entire heart. She’s been struggling for a few days. She was tired, it was time. She gave me so many signs to tell me she loved me …. She had little strength, but wagged her tail when she saw me. She laid on the pillow and blanket I brought for her. She was so happy to have her favorite toys. The last thing she did was bathe me. Happily licking my hand, right at the very end. My little girl. Every morning i would sing to her “you are my sunshine” while making coffee. Please don’t take my sunshine away. I am shattered in a way i could have never been prepared for. I would have never been ready, but i have no regrets. We did all we could, and she lived a good life. I don’t know who I am without her. I don’t know how to live if not for her. My little Tesla.
