Father, writer, scientist, teller of dad jokes. The guy that wrote that book you read that time, and plays that game you like.

Some skeptics make claims like "this isn't real" without giving any evidence. If you say something isn't real, that's still a claim, so you have to prove it just like anyone else. For example, dismissing allegations that the U.S. government has recovered UFOs requires evidence. You're asserting that a large group of current and former intelligence officials, many with decades of service and security clearances, are either lying, mistaken, or suffering from some sort of shared delusion. You're also asserting that sworn testimony, whistleblower complaints, and years of Congressional interest is all nonsense, and that none of it points to anything worth taking seriously. "This can't possibly be true!" is not evidence.

Inflation is completely out of control, you can’t even take 3 kids to a Detroit Tigers game anymore without spending an arm and a leg! Crazy!

Why can’t we have delicious local restaurants inside suburban communities?

YouTube no longer seems interested in indie creators. They’re pivoting to become a distribution platform for big productions, networks, and established media companies. Their business model is shifting. They’re making it harder for smaller creators to earn money, and it feels like they’d prefer us gone entirely. That way, they could keep 100% of the ad revenue without sharing it with anyone. What makes it worse is the lack of real competition. Rumble isn’t a viable alternative for most—it’s largely known for political livestreams, and mainstream audiences rarely go there. I wish that weren’t the case, but it is. I’ve been uploading original videos and podcasts here on X, even though they mostly get ignored for now. But that won’t last forever. X has the potential to become the go-to platform for videos and podcasts, and I’m really hoping it does. YouTube doesn’t want us anymore. They got what they could out of us. We made them lots of money at no cost to them at all. Our value to them has come to an end.

Just saw someone post on FB about her daughter's DORM ROOM REGISTRY we have lost the plot

Why is it so difficult to get 535 citizens with integrity and common sense to represent us?

What are you doing if $GME opens up at $50 tomorrow?

- zero fatal crashes - very cheap flights - strong safety record - modern planes - consistent deals - easy booking - simple pricing model The world owes Spirit Airlines an apology. A generational run.

Uber abandoned self-driving in 2020. Got mocked for it. Travis Kalanick still calls it the worst mistake he made. Five years later. Uber is now the data layer. 25 self-driving companies pay to use it. Waymo. Wayve. 23 others. The CTO said the quiet part out loud: 'The bottleneck is data.' 'They don't have the capital to deploy the cars and go collect all this information.' Uber has the cars. Uber has the cities. Uber has the trips. Tesla bet on the cars. Waymo bet on the algorithm. Uber bet on the marketplace. The marketplace owns the data. The data owns the next decade. Sometimes losing the race means winning the next one.
