MORNING THOUGHTS Roles and expectations differ from person to person but adding value to yourself should be a priority. You can define your path by weighing your expectations against reality and what skills you need to become a better person. Do not weigh yourself down with unrealistic expectations expecting a different outcome. How can a blind man lead another blind man? Be a person of notable character who can be trusted by friends, at work and in business. Understand that value is not just output. It is how predictable and reliable you are. Are you reliable? Do you trust your judgement? When push comes to shove, will you take the advice you give others? If you can answer these questions honestly then you have already built a solid foundation on trust which adds immeasurable value to your life. Build and maintain healthy relationships with people and do not be the person who is always seeking out the other only when in need. Add value to people by solving their problems, giving first without taking and be mindful of their boundaries. Be the change you want to see in others. Lead the path you want people to follow. Be confident but not arrogant. Be compassionate.

I used to post on X and refresh like my life depended on it. No likes or replies. Just silence. But I kept showing up anyway with same effort, thoughts, and account. Still not “viral” yet... but now, at least, I’m not invisible. And I’ve learned this; on X, consistency looks like nothing until it suddenly looks like growth. Good evening my amazing mutuals and X family. 🤍

Guys, always stand up to shake hands. If the other person is older than you, it shows respect. If they are younger than you, it shows humility. Either way, you win. People who sit to shake hands are bad-mannered. When you shake hands, do not just offer a limp hand... even to an elder! Make sure that your handshake is firm. It shows confidence and fitness. Then make sure that you look into the person’s eyes. It shows interest, attention and confidence. Don’t look away furtively like a liar and a thief! Remember, as a man, there should be nothing limp or flaccid about you. You should always be polite and gracious, quietly confident (not arrogant, that is for inferior men) and erect. Always erect!
