For what it's worth, K-State v. Arizona got moved to Friday night in 2024 when both teams were ranked in the top 20, and K-State had played at Tulane the week before.
Not anyone's favorite scenario (and it wasn't K-State's then), but the Tech-Houston situation isn't unique.
