@UncleNickHub @Pirat_Nation HAGS aka Hardware Accelerated Graphics Scheduling, is known to do this on AMD RDNA4 cards. It's a Windows feature, which should be a red flag. Let me guess, you were using hardware encoding in OBS. This is what usually triggers it.

Valve reportedly sees the Steam Machine as a success just one month after launch. According to Bloomberg Valve is happy with the system’s early performance and believes the launch has gone better than expected. Schreier says Valve “never wanted to compete with PlayStation and Xbox” or sell tens of millions of consoles. Instead, the company’s goal is to expand SteamOS and make PC gaming easier to enjoy in the living room. The report also says the first batch of Steam Machines sold out faster than Valve expected, despite the $1,000+ starting price and limited supply.

@UncleNickHub @Pirat_Nation I only play on Linux and yes, you can mod your games easily (you have many tuto on YouTube too if you struggle)

Oh sorry I meant i was streaming on Windows, basically after a while (usually after 30 minutes) my whole pc would crash and i needed to hard reboot it. Then the graphics driver would get corrupted so I had to do a clean install everytime, it was super annoying. Shame because I've been with AMD since the ATI days 😁

@UncleNickHub @Pirat_Nation What kind of issue? It mikght not have been due to the AMD card but something with Wayland.

@thezorch @Pirat_Nation Ah shame. I just recently switched to Nvidia since I had issues streaming with my 9070, i'll have to wait then 🥲

@UncleNickHub @Pirat_Nation Only try SteamOS if you're on an all AMD system. Nvidia doesn't work yet, but Valve is working with them on that. Otherwise, either try Bazzite (the next best thing) or CachyOS. A very fast Arch-based distro designed for gaming performance.

Nintendo has reportedly suffered a setback after Japan’s Patent Office rejected one of its Pokémon-related patent applications. The patent covered touchscreen gameplay features like moving your character, throwing an item to catch creatures, sending them into battle, and choosing commands during fights. According to the patent office, those ideas weren’t new enough. The examiner pointed to several earlier examples, including a Pokémon fan game shown on YouTube in 2013, saying similar mechanics were already public before Nintendo filed the patent.

@Pirat_Nation Something similar happened to me with my old live.com email. Thankfully I didn't have anything of value tied to it other than emails, Microsoft support basically told me to just make another account because they couldn't take it back from the hacker.

A streamer says Microsoft permanently deleted his 25-year-old Microsoft account after it was hacked, locking him out of everything connected to it. According to him, hackers took over the account and changed the recovery details. Even after contacting Microsoft support and providing evidence of ownership, he says he was told the account could not be recovered and was eventually deleted. The account included: - 25 years of Xbox history - Thousands of dollars’ worth of digital games and purchases - Outlook emails - OneDrive files and family photos, including baby pictures of his son - Other Microsoft services tied to the account
