He says “a child born today will never be smarter than AI.” And I’m like, no shit- our kids will be so brainrotted from algorithmically addictive slop & offloading cognition to GPT that they’ll be illiterate bundles of nerves trained only to react & consume. He won’t just meet his promise by making AIs smarter, he’ll do it by making humans dumber

On World Press Freedom Day…
In Gaza, this day is not measured by the number of articles published, but by the number of journalists who are gone—and the stories buried under rubble before they could be told.
Here, a camera is not just a tool… it’s a target. A microphone is not only for amplifying voices—it has become a witness to attempts to silence them. Journalists work under bombardment, documenting pain while living it, writing the story as they endure its harsh chapters.
In numbers, dozens of journalists have been killed, and hundreds of media institutions have been damaged or destroyed. Restrictions on access to information persist, and the ability to report freely is continuously obstructed.
Yet despite all this… the truth still finds a way. It rises from the dust, from a broken lens, from an exhausted voice that refuses to fall silent.
On this day, we do not ask for privileges… We ask only for the right to report the truth without paying for it with our lives.
