I need to find my people again in this place—and a reason to stay and keep doing what I do. If you love poetry, resist fascism & hatred, believe in education, and just generally value tenderness and empathy and love, can you say hi? I need to get this algorithm straightened out.
As a thank you to all my followers, I'm giving away 3 signed copies of my new book, The Teacher—a story about finding our voices and becoming who we are.

I'm giving away a signed copy of The Swallows of Lunetto, my novel about fascism in Italy, because I think we need to understand how the madness can happen anywhere.
