I agree that's one way , there is also revenue sharing if one is afraid to give away stocks. The challenge is most Tz companies need to be creative but also think of EVP. Employee Value Proposition. A human is setting aside part of his/her lifetime to work for/with you.

I think the only way for these Tanzanian companies to have loyal employees is by giving them stock options also. I have worked with companies giving me salary plus stock options the drive is different.

🤯MPESA wasn't the first mobile money product in Tanzania. E-Fulusi Africa launched MobiPawa in early 2008, followed by Mpesa in April 2008. In 2 years, the other MNOs launched similar products. Airtel, Tigo and Zantel. source: @FSDTanzania research.
