We are proud to have hosted the Universities Ireland Conference at a time when cross-border partnership has never been more vital. @UniIreland and this conference in particular provide a unique forum to unify our efforts, exchange knowledge and show the value of #HigherEducation and its role as a driver of inclusive #EconomicImpact. The discussions over the conference sparked new collaborations that will make a tangible difference to our students, society and all-island economy, and will have a long-lasting impact beyond the two-day event. Fantastic to have our Nation Director @JohnMDArcy hosting the inaugural Universities Ireland conference today in his role as Vice Chair. The theme was Collaborating for Change and the message was clear - we need a unified voice around shared challenges and opportunities to set solutions in motion. Moving forward together, universities can work across borders to deliver real, impactful outcomes for people, place and communities. Well done to all the speakers and thanks to @QUBelfast for the hospitality.

Minister for @Economy_NI, Dr @CArchibald_SF, and Minister for @DeptofFHed, @lawlessj, both highlighting the important role of Universities Ireland.
